Apparently she didn't want a bridal shower?

JANET JACKSON got married last year!! It's not clear how they kept it a secret this long, but Janet and her husband, a Qatari businessman named Wissam Al Mana, made the announcement yesterday.

They said, quote, "The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.

"Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy."

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE got married recently in a private ceremony, according to her rep. The Mr. is MARTYN LENOBLE, one of the founding members of the band PORNO FOR PYROS.

They've been together four years, and have a 2-year-old daughter.

I think this is really cute! Denise Richards STILL cares about Charlie Sheen's well being!

On Oscar night, Denise was cleaning out her garage to make it a playroom. Meanwhile, Charlie was at his place having a little Oscar PARTY.

They started exchanging Tweets, and Denise told Charlie, quote, "Come help me clean the damn garage for their playroom."

Charlie Tweeted a picture of himself hanging out with a friend, along with the caption, "I'm BUSY LADY! LOOK!"

Denise replied, quote, "Yes I see. Time to pack it in and GO TO BED you have a 5:30am call . . . 3 1/2 hrs so get your ass up to your room."

Charlie replied, quote, "I SAID LOOK!", along with a picture of himself holding a wine bottle and digging in his fridge.

Denise replied, quote, "Charles . . . not to be a buzzkill . . . But this is the point where the night can go sideways."

At that point, a follower of one of them chimed in with this . . . quote, "How cute . . . most people would have this convo via text in private but celebs decide to have it on Twitter."

To which Denise replied, quote, "Well if these are our public messages imagine our private ones . . . "

Prince Michael on 90210!!

Last week, we heard MICHAEL JACKSON'S oldest son, 16-year-old PRINCE MICHAEL, had lined up a gig as a "special correspondent" for "Entertainment Tonight". Now, he's landed a guest spot on "90210".

Prince Michael will make his acting debut on the show's season finale, which airs sometime in May. He's playing a character named Cooper . . . "a trauma victim, who bonds with JESSICA STROUP'S character, Erin Silver."

Mumford and Sons teaming up with JAY Z?? Banjos and rap?!

MUMFORD & SONS' second album, "Babel", took home Album of the Year at the Grammys earlier this month . . . but the band says their next album will have a slightly different sound from their first two.

It won't sound TOTALLY different, although MARCUS MUMFORD JOKES that they could try RAPPING. He says, quote, "We really want to rap. We've just got so much to say . . . saying it through a melody doesn't really work for me.

"We've been talking with JAY-Z about it, you know."

We recently learned that HUNTER HAYES likes confident women who are driven. But wait, there's more. Now he's saying that she also needs to be geeky and patient.

Taste of Country asked if he has a particular type. He answered, quote, "My type is just whoever can get along with me. As geeky and as high-energy as I am it's gonna take somebody pretty patient."
